Iford Biodiversity Project Phase Three - Downland

Phase Three, again based on interwar aerial mapping, aims to restore this parcel of downland to high-quality grass with scattered scrub and dewponds but retaining an area of wild bird seed to continue to attract the farmland birds which visit through the year.  Our adjacent Iford Hill SSSI will be linked to other chalk grassland remnants and improve connectivity through these areas.
